Loren Rea was born in Milford, CT and lived in Trumbull, CT for most of her childhood. Loren attended St. Joseph High School in Trumbull and Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, CT. Her studies were focused in graphic design and computer programming.

Loren worked in Greenwich, CT at a printing production shop doing graphic design. She took a trip with friends to the Florida Keys in 1993 and made the decision to move to Key West permanently in 1996.

Her love for fishing is what brought her to the Keys initially. She worked at the Key West Citizen as a graphic designer and moved into their newly formed web development department in 1997.

Loren still works as a freelance graphic and web designer building countless websites for real estate professionals, fishing captains and local restaurants. She has kept her passion for fishing alive by getting out on the water when time allows and running two fishing tournaments in Sugarloaf Key.

Loren has been working with Truman & Co., Roger Emmons and Kenn Edwards since they formed Truman & Co. in 2004 as a web developer and more recently as a real estate professional.

She enjoys fishing and fly fishing, traveling and painting. She lives on Sugarloaf Key with her husband and son.
