The blend of a subtropical climate, historic homes, beautiful scenery, and a diverse population is what first attracted Roger to Key West and is one of the primary reasons he enjoys his profession.

Having sold real estate in Atlanta for many years Roger made the move to Key West in 1993 and immediately began to establish himself as one of the top Realtors on the island. In 2004, Roger and a chosen group of Realtors established Truman & Co. Real Estate Services. Although no longer a partner in the company as of 2024, Roger was instrumental in building one of the most successful real estate brokerages in the Florida Keys.

Over the years Roger has been very active in the community serving on the boards of The Tennessee Williams Fine Arts Center Founders Society, The Community Foundation, The Key West Board of Realtors, The Studios of Key West and as District 3 Representative for Monroe County Art in Public Places.

Roger along with his fellow associates Kenn Edwards and Loren Rea specialize in the sale of residential properties in Key West and the Lower Keys and always strive to provide their principals, whether buyers or sellers with the highest and most professional level of service.
