Kenn was born and raised in a small town in the rural area surrounding Savannah. He attended his first year of college at Georgia Southern College before finishing a degree in Plant Genetics, in the School of Agriculture, at the University of Georgia in Athens.

After college he moved to Atlanta and began work at the newly formed telecommunications company, Sprint. Always recognized and respected as a leader in customer service and working closely with the Sales organization, Kenn became a manager with employees in cities around the Southeast servicing the company’s highest-level customers.

In 1993 he left the corporate world and moved to the beautiful island of Key West. It was a dream come true. Since, he has worked with partner Roger Emmons to become one of the top selling real estate teams in Key West and the Lower Keys. In 2004, Kenn, Roger and a chosen group of Realtors established Truman & Co. Real Estate Services. Although no longer a partner in the company as of 2024, Kenn was instrumental in building one of the most successful real estate brokerages in the Florida Keys.

Kenn along with his fellow associates Roger and Loren Rea specialize in the sale of residential properties in Key West and the Lower Keys and always strive to provide their principals, whether buyers or sellers with the highest and most professional level of service.
