Kenn was born and raised in Springfield, Georgia a small town in the rural area surrounding Savannah. He attended his first year of college at Georgia Southern College before finishing a degree in Plant Genetics, in the School of Agriculture, at the University of Georgia in Athens.
After college he moved to Atlanta and began work at the newly formed telecommunications company, Sprint. Kenn began work with Sprint as an entry level customer service representative and was rapidly promoted within the Atlanta organization as the company grew to number three in the telecommunications industry. Always recognized and respected as a leader in customer service and working closely with the Sales organization, Kenn became a manager with employees in cities around the Southeast servicing the company’s highest level customers.
In 1993 he left the corporate world and moved to the beautiful island of Key West. It was a dream come true. Since, he has worked with partner Roger Emmons to become one of the top selling real estate teams in Key West and the Lower Keys.
In addition to real estate sales and his owner partnership in Truman & Co., Kenn has been very active as a volunteer with many local charitable and non-profit organizations and has served on the boards of Hospice/VNA of the Florida Keys and Sculpture Key West. When not working he can usually be found in the garden.
